A stunning ecclesiastical art deco structure, Boston Avenue United Methodist Church has been designated a National Historic Landmark. Designed by Adah M. Robinson and Bruce Goff, and completed in 1929, the church features soaring straight lines, stylized crockets and finials atop its tower, a 750,000-piece mosaic behind the choir loft of its sanctuary, and equestrian Circuit Rider statues above the arches of its south entrance. The church is located in downtown Tulsa, just blocks from Gunboat North Park.
Guided tours are every Sun. after 11:00 a.m. worship.
