A diverse collection of parks along the banks of the Arkansas River, Tulsa's River Parks offer over 20 miles of recreation trails, as well as kayaking, fishing, rowing, soccer, horseback riding and countless other outdoor activities. The parks feature numerous picnic areas, fountains, sculptures and playgrounds and hosts an array of concerts, festivals and fitness events throughout the year, including Tulsa's popular the Starlight Concert series, Oktoberfest and Oklahoma's largest free fireworks display held each year on the 4th of July. The parks lie along both the east and west banks of the Arkansas River, encompassing River West Festival Park, Zink Lake, and Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area.
